About Summer . . . (as written by Sally Dale of Bendi Boxers)
Summer has been a wonderful addition to our family. She was the beginning of our dog showing experience and will be the future of our breeding program after passing her health tests. Summer makes us wake up every day with a smile and has brought joy to our lives with her energetic, confident and adventurous nature. She has lots of love to give and is an instant hit with those she meets, human or animal alike . . . except for gophers. Our plans for Summer include more showing, obedience training, and breeding her responsibly.
Now that Summer has her Canadian championship and has cleared all of her health tests, she was bred to Am / Can Champion Naja's Enterprise of Summer (called Mr. Spock). Mr. Spock has also had all of his health testing cleared. He was bred by Naomi Gibbs of Naja Boxers in Washington state and is owned and loved by Josie O'Reilly of Summer Boxers in Alberta. This litter (see the pedigree) between Summer and Mr. Spock was born on 02 November 2006. There are seven puppies: four girls (one flashy fawn, one plain fawn, and two whites), and three boys (one semi flashy fawn, one white with a fawn patch, and one flashy fawn). All puppies are placed.
On 22 March 2008, Summer delivered her second litter. There are two puppies: one flashy fawn female and one white male with a fawn patch. Summer was bred to Am / Mex Champion Suncrest's I'm the Man (called Doc). To see the pedigree of this litter and find out more about the puppies, please visit Sally's web site: Bendi Boxers.
Summer’s show career . . .
Summer was shown exclusively by Kaili Dale, the daughter of Sally and Garry Dale. It was the first time in the ring for both Kaili and Summer – but they worked together and improved each time they competed. Kaili was truly dedicated to Summer and they became a team to watch in the ring. Summer is the third champion for her dam, Sawyer.
